Zurich, December 08 (QNA) – The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced in a statement today, that the eighth edition of the Best of the Year Awards 2023, the Best, will be held in the British capital, London, next Monday, Jan. 15.
During the ceremony, the International Federation will honor the best player, the best player, the best coach, the best coach, the best goalkeeper for men and women, along with the choice of the most beautiful goal: the Puskas Award, the Men’s and Women’s World Team, the Fans’ Award, and the Fair Play Award.
FIFA had announced the lists of nominees for all award categories, and then an international jury selected the shortlist of nominees, which included three names in most categories, in four categories: national team coaches, men’s and women’s team captains, and sports journalists, along with the participation of fans in the voting that was conducted via the official FIFA website, and reached over a million people from all over the world.
London will host the Best Award for the third time after hosting the events in 2016 and 2017. (QNA).
