Doha, December 16 (QNA) – Al Sadd coach Wesam Rizik spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League postponed match from Week 6 against Al Arabi.
“An important match awaits us against Al Arabi, and our goal is to win and get three points to strengthen the top spot in the standings. It will be a difficult match and we seek to enter the match fully prepared”, Rizik said.
“Al Sadd fans are our first supporters, and everyone saw that against Al Rayyan and Al Duhail. Our fans do not need an invitation in the next match against Al Arabi, which is considered as a strong and important test for the team,” he added.
Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League postponed match from Week 6 against Al Sadd.
“A strong and enthusiastic game awaits us, as is always the case with Al Arabi and Al Sadd, and everyone is ready to play and achieve the best possible result.
“We know very well the importance of this match in the team’s journey, and the strength of the competitor who is currently at the top of the standings and has provided a good performance in the league so far.
“We will miss his (Msakni’s) efforts. He is certainly an important player in the team ranks, but I have full confidence in the rest of the players, and they are up to the responsibility of replacing him and presenting a satisfactory performance against Al Sadd.
“We always strive to achieve the best result and present a good show. Big matches are always decided in small details, and we will put in all our focus on the match to achieve the desired result,” said Younes. (QNA)
