Doha, May 31 (QNA) – The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) organized a number of workshops for owners of commercial facilities to introduce the price evaluation and follow-up system.

In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said that the workshops shed light on the mechanism of the price evaluation and follow-up system for commercial establishments, which works on managing the process of recording and evaluating the price lists that those establishments provide, including restaurants, cafeterias, coffee shops, hair salons, beauty centers, and gymnasiums.

The system’s idea is based on enabling the users – owners of the specified commercial activities in the targeted service sectors – to log into the system to add price lists in designated tables, provided that the applicant is one of those authorized in the commercial register and that the commercial license used in the application is valid.

In a related context, the workshops dealt with systems log-in data and price follow-up, as the telephone number has to be registered on the same QID of the applicant so that a verification code could be sent at every system log-in process, in addition to the need to adhere to filling the system’s approved forms to correctly add the data and taking a high-quality image for the actual price list used in the establishment and upload it to the system.

In addition, the workshops discussed the main services of the price evaluation and follow-up system for commercial establishments, which include the services price lists, adding new items or removing registered ones, and increasing or decreasing the prices of listed items. (QNA)
