Doha, January 15 (QNA) – The Executive Committee of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) approved new members of the Committee.

At its thirty-second meeting held in Doha today, the WAFF approved Mohammed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Vice President of the Qatar Football Association, Ahmed Uqla Al Enezi, representing the Kuwaiti Federation, and Hisham Al Zarouni, representing the UAE Federation, as members of the Federation’s Executive Committee.

The meeting, chaired by WAFF’s President Prince Ali Bin Al Hussain in the presence of a number of officials in the Federation, discussed several issues and topics.

The Committee endorsed the WAFF’s strategy for 2024 as the Federation seeks to organize high-level tournaments and development activities to raise the level of football in the region.

The Executive Committee was also briefed on the report of activities carried out by the Federation since the last meeting of the Committee in 2023 along with the proposals listed in the 2024 agenda. (QNA)
