Miami, March 27 (QNA) – Top seed Carlos Alcaraz was in complete control as he dispatched Lorenzo Musetti 6-3, 6-3 to reach the quarter-finals of the Miami Open.
Alcaraz struck 23 winners and won 63 per cent of his second-serve return points to improve to 3-1 in his Lexus ATP Head2Head series with Musetti, who claimed their first meeting in the 2022 Hamburg final.
The Spaniard will next meet eighth seed 11th seed Grigor Dimitrov, who defeated eighth seed Hubert Hurkacz 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(3). (QNA)
