Berlin, March 30 (QNA) – German Bayer Leverkusen defeated Hoffenheim 2-1 on Saturday to edge closer to the Bundesliga title.

A first-half Maximilian Baier strike had Hoffenheim on track to break Leverkusen’s unbeaten streak.

Leverkusen fought back late as Andrich levelled in the 88th minute before an injury-time Schick volley sealed another remarkable comeback win.

Leverkusen, unbeaten in 39 matches across all competitions this season, are now on 73 points, 13 ahead of Bayern Munich, who lost 2-0 at home to Borussia Dortmund and remain on 60. (QNA)
