Cairo, January 09 (QNA) – The Arab League has welcomed the election of General Joseph Aoun as President of Lebanon, after he gained the confidence of the Lebanese Parliament on Thursday, ending a prolonged presidential vacancy that the country experienced and had a negative impact complicating its crises.
