Doha, November 27 (QNA) – The Costa Rica national football team’s defender Keysher Fuller expressed his happiness with the goal he scored against Japan in the match between the two teams Sunday at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in the second round of Group E matches of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Fuller, who was named the best player in the match, said that they had intense training after the massive loss against Spain, noting that his country’s defense played a big match against Japan and was able to stop successive attacks, especially in the second half.

He added that a difficult match awaits against Germany in the third round of the tournament, and they have to be in the best preparedness and with high levels of concentration because the German national team is considered one of the greats and includes many distinguished players in various positions.

Fuller concluded his statement by saying that they seek to appear at an honorable level against Germany and achieve a positive result although they realize that it will be one of the most difficult confrontations, but they will do their best in it.
