Doha, November 27 (QNA) – Morocco coach Walid Regragui said he was riding high after his side’s 2-0 win over Belgium on Sunday in the second Group H game at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, ascribing the win to high concentration and individual skills.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Regragui said the victory required great efforts in defense and attacking sides and using free kicks.

Hailing his side’s high-octane performance in the game, he said he called on his players to further focus without paying attention to Belgium’s various tactics.

He also praised the support Morocco received from their fans.

Regragui stressed the need for his side to pursue great performance to reach the knockouts.

Morocco, now sitting atop the Group H, will play their third match against Canada.

The second-placed Belgium will clash with Croatia. (QNA)
