Doha, October 10 (QNA) – Qatar Stock Exchange index lost at the beginning of Monday’s trading 21.18 points, or 0.16 percent, reaching 12962 points compared to the end of Sunday’s trading.
Qatar Stock Exchange data showed a decline in the telecommunications sector by 0.56 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 0.33 percent, followed by the insurance sector by 0.02 percent, while the transportation sector witnessed stability.
The consumer goods and services sector rose by 0.41 percent, then the industrial sector by 0.18 percent and the real estate sector by 0.14 percent.
Qatar Stock Exchange recorded, at 10:00 am, transactions worth QR 36.769 million, distributed among 19.446 million shares, with the implementation of 1475 transactions. (QNA)
