Roma, October 31 (QNA) – Italian club Juventus announced today that French player Paul Pogba has suffered a new thigh injury, which will postpone his return to the stadiums with his team, and threaten his participation with his country in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

A statement issued by the Italian club said: Pogba will be out of action for 10 days, up until the announcement of Didier Deschamps squad selection that will participate in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which begins on the 20th of next month, and which makes Pogbas joining the list of the French national team is very difficult, especially since it has not played any official matches for six months.

Pogba recently resumed his group exercises with his (new – old) team, Juventus, with whom he has not played any official match since returning to him this summer from Manchester United on a free transfer.

Juventus did not specify a date for the return of the 29-year-old, who won the World Cup in Russia in 2018 with his country, France.
