Doha, November 13 (QNA) – The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs opened today the interactive Islamic exhibition at the Imam Muhammad ibn Abd Al Wahhab Mosque, as part of the Ministry’s activities accompanying the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The exhibition aims to introduce the mosque and the message of Islam and to convey its correct and tolerant image to non-Arabic speakers from visitors to the State of Qatar during the World Cup, especially speakers of English, French, and Spanish, where the exhibition will continue until Dec. 31, 2022.

Director of the Sheikh Abdullah bin Zaid Center Dr. Saleh Ali Al Akhan said the exhibition includes the faith exhibition, which consists of 15 introductory paintings on the pillars of faith in English, in addition to another exhibition featuring 13 figures of the historical mosques of the State of Qatar, through which the visitor will learn about the importance of mosques and the State’s interest in establishing and caring for them and preserving this historical heritage of faith, and its rich Islamic architecture.

Dr. Saleh Al Akhan explained that the exhibition is open to male and female visitors all days of the week, from Saturday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and on Friday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. (QNA)
