Doha, December 09 (QNA) – HE Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the State of Qatar Drago Lovric congratulated HH the Amir, the government, and the people of Qatar on its National Day, stressing that celebrating it this year under the slogan “Our Unity is Source of Our Strength” symbolizes the culture of a nation that builds its own strength on harmony within its society.
His Excellency said in an exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the slogan for the celebration of the Qatar National Day (QND) means that the State of Qatar, under the leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, has set great and lofty goals in its transformation, which can be achieved with the time and resources available to the country.
“The center of gravity of all achievements is the strength that comes from internal cohesion, harmony, and unity of effort with the goal of building a modern Qatar,” he added.
The Ambassador praised the bilateral relations between the Republic of Croatia and the State of Qatar, describing them as “friendly and cordial,” with the two countries’ keenness and aspiration to increase their cooperation in view of their capabilities.
“Given the potential of both countries, we believe that we can achieve more in terms of investments, economic cooperation, and trade. We are looking forward to exploiting further advantages of the Croatian LNG terminal on the island of Krk in terms of Qatari gas export to the European market. I believe we can expand our economic cooperation in many areas, particularly in the areas of tourism, health industry, energy, food, and food processing industry, construction, defense as well as high technologies,” Lovric said.
“I can point out that the State of Qatar has achieved impressive development in many areas of social life in the last ten years. The State of Qatar very wisely uses all instruments of national power in order to position itself on the international stage. It is important to point out that Qatar emphasizes the importance of dialogue in resolving international conflicts and positions itself as a mediator in resolving various disputes,” HE Ambassador Drago Lovric said.
