Beijing, December 30 (QNA) – Chinese giant Huawei Technologies Co. said that it expects it sales for the final quarter of 2022 to grow 7.2 percent, despite restrictions imposed by the US on the company.

The company said it expects quarterly revenue of $27.4 billion, thanks to new revenue streams like smart vehicles and cloud computing services. Revenues for the year grew slightly from the previous year to roughly $91.53 billion.

The company’s rotating chairman Eric Xu said in a letter to employees that the company has now fully absorbed the impact of US sanctions, announcing that it is now business as usual for the Chinese technology giant.

The US imposed a trade ban on Huawei, citing national security concerns. The ban prevented American companies from dealing with Huawei. (QNA)
