Doha, January 01 (QNA) – Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation (QCSF) has unveiled its motto “Sport inspires education” which reflects harmonious relationship and common vision between QCSF and higher education institutions in the country, in order to implement sports and social activities and events in the next stage.
The launch of the motto came based on the vision of QCSF’s officials, along with several representatives of the higher education institutions, including universities, academic institutions, colleges and education institutions in the State of Qatar, in a way that boosts the joint cooperation between the two sectors. The announcement of the motto comes within the framework of the completion of founding procedures of QCSF which had already unveiled its mission, vision and objectives in August, and aims to advance the sports and physical activities in the higher education institutions; in accordance with global standards to promote the awareness of sports and its positive impact on the individual’s health and the community in general, as well as the student and college community in particular.
QCSF is a sporting complementary system for the sports and physical activities in education, and QCSF will spare no effort in providing the opportunities to the students of the higher education institutions in demonstrating their sports and physical talents and capabilities.
HE President of the Qatar University Sports Association Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi said that he is delighted to endorse the “Sport inspires education” motto for QCSF which seeks to invest in the talented national elements within the sports system to be further fined and elevate its skillful levels in supporting the unique sports process in the country, adding that sports plays a pivotal role in Qatar National Vision 2030, as Qatar strives to occupy a pioneering status in the sports field globally.
For his part, QCSF Secretary General Rashid Saed Mohammed said that he is pleased to have a close cooperation with the higher education institutions in the State of Qatar, which have spared no effort in supporting QCSF’s vision, mission, objectives and slogans in order to build a brighter and stronger sports and educational future for the generations to come.
