Katowice (Poland), January 22 (QNA) – Qatar will play Monday against Argentina in their third and final match in the main round competitions of the 2023 Poland/Sweden IHF World Men’s Handball Championship, which lasts until Jan. 29.
The Qatari team is seeking to achieve their first victory in this round after losing to the Netherlands (30/32) and Norway (17/30), thus losing their chance to qualify for the quarterfinals.
Qatar advanced to this round after finishing third in Group E where they defeated Algeria 29/24 and suffered two losses to Germany and Serbia 31/27 and 34/24 respectively.
In the main round, Qatar were drawn in Group C along with Norway, Germany, Serbia, Netherlands and Argentina. (QNA)
