Doha, January 22 (QNA) – Al Ahli coach Nebojsa Jovovic stressed that Al Ahli seeks to continue their positive results during Monday’s match against Al Markhiya at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium within 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 11.
In a statement, Jovovic said: “Al Ahli are looking forward to being at the best technical level during all matches, so we will have to prepare the team for a strong match against Al Markhiya, who are one of the strong teams in terms of level and style of play.”
He considered that the match will not be easy for the team due to the strength of the competition in the league after the end of international commitments that caused absence of players in a number of clubs.
“We prepared for this match from a physical and technical point of view, and worked to address the negatives and develop performance among players,” said Nebojsa.
“We need to provide the required technical level and be on the path of victories,” added Nebojsa.
Al Ahli player Nikola Vukcevic said: “We are always looking for the best position in the standings. As a player, I am all set for this game.”
“The Al Markhiya match will not be easy. We know very well that the opponent is a strong team technically, but we, in Al Ahli, are prepared for the match in the best way and are looking forward to achieve the best result. We will make every effort to collect full points,” Vukcevic added.
