Doha, February 04 (QNA) – The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) on Saturday opened (The Journey A Tale of the Arabian Horse) art exhibition by Peter Upton, as part of the cultural events associated with the Third Katara Arabian Horses Festival.

The exhibition represents an aesthetic, cognitive and documentary journey that features more than 100 paintings by British artist, painter, poet and historian Peter Upton, owned by collectors who are passionate about horses. and art.

The artworks celebrate the beauty of Arabian horses and the uniqueness of their shapes and sizes, highlighting them as a source of inspiration, a symbol of courage and pride, and a title of equestrianism, beauty and originality.

The also reflect Upton’s experience and vision of the Arabian horse, and his passion for learning about its history, which led him to write several books, including Desert Heritage, which was published in 1979, and the classic Arabian horse, which became a bestseller and was published in five languages, including Arabic.

Upton became an Arabian horse judge nearly fifty years ago and held several exhibitions on Arabian horses and art around the world. (QNA)
