London, March 27 (QNA) – Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia will be on the sidelines for the remainder of this season over a setback in his recovery of injury.
The 20-year-old sustained a thigh injury only 32 minutes into his debut with the Blues in the premier league against Crystal Palace in December.
Moving to the Stamford Bridge on a Euro 53 million transfer from Southampton in August, the Belgian was ruled out all of the first half of the campaign due to an ankle injury.
Chelsea are now 11th in the Premier League table with 39 points. (QNA)
