Basra, January 09 (QNA) – Qatar’s national football team finished preparations for their Group B’s second fixture of the ongoing Gulf 25 tournament against Bahrain set to be played on Tuesday at Al Minaa Stadium in Iraq’s Basra.
The Qatari team, which achieved the best kick-off with a deserved 2-0 victory over Kuwait on Saturday, is seeking to formally advance to the next round.

During the training, Bruno Miguel Pinheiro’s men showed overwhelming performance in terms of harmony and tactic.
Tomorrow’s confrontation between the two teams is the number 19 in the history of their matches in the tournament that began in 1970 when they faced each other in the first edition that took place in Manama and ended in favor of the Bahraini team with 2-1.
Tomorrow’s match will be run by an Uzbek refereeing team led by Ilgiz Tantashev.
